The 25% Guarantee — Terms

If your landlord doesn't reduce the proposed increase by at least 25%, we refund every penny. Just forward us their final written offer within 45 days.

The precise terms behind that sentence:

  1. The 25% threshold. The guarantee is met when the final increase is reduced by at least 25% measured against the proposed increase that was in writing at the time of your purchase. Example: proposed increase of $200/mo → the guarantee is satisfied if your final increase is $150/mo or less. If the final increase is more than 75% of the proposed increase, you qualify for a full refund of the Renewal Counter-Offer Kit price ($149).
  2. 45-day window. Claims must be submitted within 45 days of kit delivery, with your landlord's final written offer (letter, email, or portal screenshot).
  3. You sent the letter. The letter must have been sent to your landlord or property manager substantially as delivered (your own light edits are fine).
  4. One claim per order. Each Kit order is eligible for one guarantee claim.
  5. What's covered. The guarantee covers the $149 Kit price. The $39 Landlord Response Scripts, the $149 We Handle the Back-and-Forth upgrade, the $69/yr Renewal Radar subscription, and the $49 DIY Kit are not covered by the guarantee. The DIY Kit explicitly carries no guarantee.
  6. Refund method. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

To file a claim, use the guarantee claim form. We review every claim within 3 business days.
